This will be a one-day meeting on the general topic of population genetics for researchers in the New York tri-state area. This is the fifth annual meeting of this kind. Previous workshops were held at Cold Spring Harbor, the New York Genome Center, Princeton University, and Columbia University.

The program will consist of two 30-minute keynote lectures and several shorter talks selected from abstracts. The day will be rounded out by a luncheon (vegetarian, vegan, and kosher options available). Wine & cheese reception immediately following the meeting.

Selection of material for a poster presentation will be made by the organizers; submitters will be notified of their status approximately one-month prior to the meeting. We especially encourage students and postdoctoral associates to submit abstracts for presentation.
